Biography

This Australian tenor studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) where he obtained his awards. In 2015 he made his debut with the Opera Australia Schools Company in La Cenerentola on tour in Australia. In 2017, he participated in the performances of Pelléas et Mélisande with the Isreali Young Artist Programm. In 2018, in Auckland, he was Tebaldo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi). He moved to London in 2019 and debuted at the Royal Opera as an second cast for the role of Eurymachus (Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria) with the London Symphony Orchestra. He is a finalist for the Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Foundation Bel Canto Award. Within the GMSD, he performed scenes from L'elisir d'amore, I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Written on Skin, La finta giardiniera, Fidelio and Les Mamelles de Tirésias. He played Snout (Ein Sommernachtstraum) and the Shepherd (Venus and Adonis). He recently participated in the world premiere of The Angel Esmeralda by Lliam Paterson, in Mansfield Park by Henry Crawford at the Waterperry Festival and sang the role of Lindoro (La fedeltà premiata), the Prince (Dornröschen by Respighi) at the within the GSMD. He joined the OnR Opera Studio in September 2020 and will notably perform the roles of the Philistine Messenger (Samson et Dalila) and Prince Ramiro (Cenerentolina).
