Presentation

Because words hold the power to expose unspoken truths, opening paths to action and hope. Bruno Bouché, artistic director of the OnR Ballet, returns to the stage with L’Été, a personal reflection on the devastating impact of the code of silence. Through a compelling blend of choreography and storytelling, he confronts difficult questions: How does one break an omerta enforced by the threat of death? How can we dismantle the chains of systemic oppression that sustain this silence? And how can a seemingly hopeless situation spark a movement toward freedom?

In L’Été, both dance and theatre echo the urgent messages that demand to be heard again and again. United for the Arsmondo Festival, dancer Bruno Bouché and actor Clémence Boué form a powerful duet under the direction of Romain Gneouchev, a passionate advocate of documentary theatre as a tool to probe contemporary realities.

This production does more than transcend trauma—it channels it into a call to action, urging us all to confront a deeply entrenched issue that sparks endless debate yet stubbornly resists change.
