With Until the Lions: Echoes from the Mahabharata, published in 2015, the French-Indian writer Karthika Naïr won the Tata Literature Live! Award, one of the most important literary awards of her country. Settled in France since 2000, she continues her poetic activity while pursuing a production activity with the choreographer Sidi Larbu Cherkaoui. Karthika Naïr is the author of Thierry Pécou’s Until the Lions opera libretto which was created for this Arsmondo festival edition.
