Inspired by a soldier's diary found in a bombed-out Beirut apartment during the civil war, Agenda 1979 creates a polyphony of voices and sounds that sends this archive on a journey through time. Gregory Buchakjian, who in his beautiful book Abandoned Dwellings: A History of Beirut weaves together his research on the city's urban heritage, unveils a new piece for Arsmondo based on an object that reflects the country's dark past.
