Odysseus the Refugee

After the Trojan War, Odysseus, beset by travails preventing him from reaching his island home of Ithaca, is stranded in the perilous Ionian and Aegean seas. The warrior king becomes an unknown traveler at the mercy of mortal and divine women, both friend and foe. This adaptation of the epic adventures of the smart and cunning refugee hero combines traditional shadow theater, music and dance, ancient literature and modern humor.
