Presentation
Twelve-year-old Samuele lives on an island where he goes to school and loves to hunt with his catapult. He prefers games on land, even though life there revolves around the sea and the men, women and children who attempt to cross it to reach his island. For Lampedusa is like no other place: a symbolic frontier of Europe where for the past 20 years thousands of migrants have come in search of freedom.
