Aïta mon amour
Aïta mon amour, the duo formed by Widad Mjama, a pioneer of Moroccan female rap, and Khalil Epi, an iconic figure on the Arab electro scene, deliver a bold and contemporary interpretation of aïta, Morocco’s rural folk music embodied by the chikhates, female singers and custodians of a centuries-old tradition. The performance combines electro sounds and traditional music, taking us on an intoxicating journey through Moroccan culture.
La Louuve (DJ set)
In her sets, La Louuve offers a fresh perspective on her roots and her love of clubbing, breaking down barriers between genres. Drawing on raï, dabke, mahraganat, Gnawa, Afrobeat, techno, house and percussive beats, she brings her boundless energy and party vibe to the stage as she plays a mix of folk tunes and resistance songs.
