Bomarzo and Beatrice Cenci

The Opéra national du Rhin invites you to discover two extremely rare opera recordings. One opera by German-born British composer Berthold Goldschmidt (1903-1996) in a summer 2018 production at the Bregenz Festival, which is inspired by the same theme as Ginastera’s “Beatrix Cenci” and one recording of a 2017 production by Madrid’s Teatro Real of Alberto Ginastera’s other great opera, “Bomarzo,” directed by Pierre Audi, the new director of the Aix-en-Provence Festival.
