Biography

Born in Buenos Aires in 1973, this author and director studied cinema, visual arts and theater in Argentina, Spain and Italy. He has written and directed around fifteen plays over the past ten years, including Arde brillante en los bosques de la noche (2017) which premiered at the HAU Theater in Berlin, Cuando vuelva a casa voy a ser otro (2015) and Cineastas (2013) created at the Festival des Arts de Bruxelles, El Pasado es un animal grotesco (2010) created at the Complejo Teatral in Buenos Aires, Sometimes I think I can see you (2010-2014) created at the HAU Theater, Encyclopaedia of unlived lives (2010 ) premiered at Schauspielhaus Graz and La Marea (2005-2013) premiered at the Buenos Aires International Festival. His works have been presented in the main international festivals: Kunsten festival des arts in Brussels, Festival d'Avignon, Under the Radar in New York, Festival d'Automne in Paris, Zürcher Theater Spektakle, PuSh Festival Vancouver, Santiago a Mil, Temporada Alta Girona, Kampnagel Hamburg, Yokohama Festival and Wiener Festwochen and have been translated into more than twenty languages. His latest creations include Diamante (2018) presented at the Ruhrtriennale, and El Publico (2020), a film presented at the Buenos Aires International Film Festival. He made his OnR debut in 2019 directing Beatrix Cenci de Ginastera.
