Biography

She lives in Milan where she studied at the Paolo Grassi drama school. She directed Le couronnement de Poppée at the Theater in Kiel, Tosca at La Fenice in Venice, Il Giasone and I Pagliacci at the Grand Théâtre in Geneva, Cavalleria rusticana at the Teatro Sociale in Como, Carmen in Macerata, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Guillaume Tell, Orfeo und Euridice by Gluck and Falstaff in Brescia, Pavia, Cremona and Como, Don Pasquale and Falstaff at the Landestheater in Salzburg, Werther in Bari, Pavia, Brescia, Como and Cremona and Adelina at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro. In the theater she staged Le allegre comari di Windsor, Alla mia età mi nascondo ancora per fumare, La storia d'amore di Eloisa e Abelardo by Pauselli, Sinigaglia e Scommegna, after the letters of Heloise and Abelard, Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare and Le Baccanti, after Euripides, Lear, or Everything about my Father by Shakespeare ... Since 2008, she has been artistic director of the Teatro Ringhiera in Milan. She has been invited several times by the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. Her recent and upcoming performances include I Pagliacci in Bologna and Reggio Emilia, Alcina at the Opera national de Lorraine, the modern drama Europa Cabaret at the Teatro Stabile in Bolzano, La camera azzurra at the Teatro Carcano Milan, Il nodo at the Teatro dei Rozzi in Siena, Se non posso ballare at the Teatro Trivulzio de Melzo.
