Biography

After graduating in Laval University in Quebec, she trained with Marlena Malas in New York. His repertoire ranges from baroque (Rameau, Handel), to classical (Gluck, Haydn and Mozart) and to the French repertoire of the 19th and 20th centuries (Massenet, Poulenc, Debussy). She sang the roles of Sister Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, in Nice, at the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto as well as Blanche de la Force at the Opéra national de Lyon and Bologne; Pamina (The Magic Flute) at the Monnaie de Bruxelles; Princess Laoula (L'Étoile) at the Dutch National Opera and the ROH in London; Susanna (Les Noces de Figaro) in Angers-Nantes, Lille, Montreal, Montpellier and at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées; Musetta (La Bohème) in Quebec; Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande) in Lyon and in concert with the Orchester symphonique de Montréal; Leila (The Pearl Fishermen) in Limoges and Reims; Amour (Orphée and Eurydice) at the Opéra National de Paris, then Eurydice in Angers-Nantes, at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, in Lausanne and at the Opéra Comique; Thérèse (Les Mamelles de Tirésias) in Lyon, at the Opéra Comique and in concert with the BBC Symphony orchestra; Sophie (Werther) in Brussels, Lille and at the Paris Opera; Hébé, Phaniet Fatime (Les Indes galantes) and Télaïre (Castor and Pollux) at the Capitole de Toulouse; Oriane (Amadis de Gaules) at the Opéra Royal de Versailles and the Opéra Comique; Nadia (La Veuve joyeuse) and Hélène (The Silver Stamp) at the Opéra Comique; Andromède (Persée) in Metz, Versailles and at the TCE; Frasquita (Carmen) at the Chorégies d'Orange and Avignon; Servilia (La clemenza di Tito) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Opéra de Montréal; Pedro (Don Quixote) in Tokyo and Avignon; Mélisande (Ariane and Barbe-Bleue) at the Paris Opera, Alphise (Les Boréades) in Dijon, Cendrillon (Massenet) at the Opéra national de Lorraine. She sang the role of Sophie (Werther) at the OnR in 2009.
