Presentation

After years of bouncing from place to place, existing on the fringes of society or living outside the established order, a group of thirty-somethings find safe harbor in Rochesson, a village in Hautes Vosges in the east of France. There, Florent, Camille, Gilles and the others have carved out a quiet corner to live by their own rules. Collectively and individually, they do what they can to lead a simple—and ever simpler—life while striving against all the odds to define their own conditions of autonomy. In eschewing social norms, rejecting all forms of success besides self-fulfillment and staying true to their deepest aspirations, they pursue a single but vital goal: to live a good life.
