Presentation
In 2024, Laboratoire de l’Utopie, known familiarly as Studio Labut, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, they have set up a hive inside the Haute École des Arts du Rhin (HEAR) so visitors can discover firsthand the fascinating life of bees—the unwitting crux of many an environmental debate. Yérri-Gaspar Hummel and students from the Fabrique du Son evening class invite you on a sensory-loaded guided tour of a hive unlike any you’ve seen before. Visitors can also go up to check out the beehive on the roof of the HEAR building, while an art installation in the auditorium will amplify the whispers of nature, transforming the space into an immersive sound experience.
