Teaching kits

Made by our scenery production departments, these teaching tools are aimed at primary schools. They are particularly useful for groups living far from theatre towns, who rarely have the chance to visit shows.


The "scenery" kit
offers an approach to scenery and how it is made in the workshops, from the initial project to their use on the stage. This activity offers a hands-on approach with a model stage and is backed by video excerpts of shows.


The "painted canvas" kit
reveals some of the secrets of the craft of the scenery painter, and presents the tools and techniques used.
