Student and the Opera

Training courses

The Opéra national du Rhin has taken on the task of training students whose university courses relate to the arts, music, dance and cultural management and also within the frame of raising public awareness in general. Through different types of partnership, students discover the Opera and are given an insight, training course or approach adapted to their needs.

A few examples of jointly run courses:

Arts and music: CFMI music teacher training centre in Sélestat, the Conservatoires of Strasbourg and Mulhouse,  École supérieure des Arts décoratifs (higher school of decorative arts), Strasbourg University

Education: training courses for primary school teachers, Higher Education School in Karlsruhe, Germany

Technical crafts: several vocational high schools with the backing of our scenery and costumes workshops.

Actions in partnership with student associations are proposed on a regular basis.

"Danse à l'université"

As usual, the dancers of the Ballet of the Opéra national du Rhin propose encounters on the university campuses of Strasbourg and Mulhouse. The courses are illustrated by choreographic excerpts enabling students to discover and analyse the keys of each show in a friendly and direct exchange.
