Luciano Bibiloni

Artistic and Musical Director

Born in La Plata, Argentina, Luciano Bibiloni made his first steps in the world of music through choral singing. During his childhood, he practised his piano, violin, singing and guitar and then perfected his art with the best teachers in the country: Susana Romé for piano, Roberto Régio for violin and viola, and Reynaldo Censabella for voice.

From 1995, he studied composition and conducting at La Plata National University (Argentina), while maintaining a professional activity in conducting and performance, mainly at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and Teatro Argentino in his native town. After being awarded his teaching degree from University, he left the country to further his training in Spain with the composer Josep Soler, and in France, mainly with the CNSM in Paris.

He obtained an advanced diploma in choir conducting (Diplôme d'études musicales supérieures - DEMS) at the CNR in Paris in Patrick Marco's class on orchestration and analysis with Alain Louvier and ancient music with avec Olivier Trachier. He also finished his studies in singing at the Darius Milhaud Conservatoire in Paris.

Since his arrival in France, Luciano has made a name for himself in the world of choral and orchestral music, directing regional projects for several À Cœur Joie federations (West Paris - Yvelines, Provence and Alsace). He has also enjoyed a series of experiences with top-quality ensembles (Ensemble Vocal Mélanges, Chœur de l'Orchestre Colonne and Les Voix d'Ile de France) and he worked with the Maîtrise in Paris on a regular basis for three years.

He taught choral singing in several conservatories in Paris and the Île de France region, notably at the Ecole Nationale de Musique in Bourg-la-Reine and the Conservatories of the City of Paris. He regularly performs as solo tenor for oratorios and concert operas.

He has conducted several orchestral ensembles (Sinfonieta de Paris, Europa Musa, Les Muses Galantes, Les Musiciens de Mademoiselle de Guise, Badgodesberger Kantatenorchester, etc.) and also acted as Artistic Director (Symphony Orchestra of Val-de-Marne, Orchestra of the Pays du Mont-Blanc Festival).

He was Musical and Artistic Director of the Maîtrise of Saint-Etienne Cathedral in Toulouse for over 4 years before becoming Director of the Petits Chanteurs de Strasbourg - Maîtrise of the Opéra National du Rhin in September 2013
