The Opéra national du Rhin was set up by the Cities of Strasbourg, Mulhouse and Colmar and is subsidised by the Ministry of Culture and communication, by the Région Alsace, which is associated with all the events on the programme for the 2009-2010 season, by the Conseil général du Bas-Rhin, and by the Conseil général du Haut-Rhin.
