Fidelio, the new name for the association ADOR, is for the loyal supporters of the Opéra national du Rhin, those men and women who wish to play a part in the development and outreach activities of this establishment. They also wish to pass on their passion for opera and dance by supporting the Opera in encouraging new works and innovation. FIDELIO also lends its support to ensuring the continuation of the culture and teaching programmes.

Fidelio is the new name of the association, since the Opéra of tomorrow needs to maintain its aim to spread beyond geographical, social and cultural borders and to strengthen its ties with present and future audiences.

As members of Fidelio you can discover the opera from a different viewpoint, you can benefit from special access to performances so as to view them in the best possible conditions, as well as taking part in the events which make this opera house into such a prestigious, fascinating and living place.

Gifts... Tax breaks

Fidelio is a not-for-profit association which has been recognised as of general interest. Any gifts made in addition to the membership fee are therefore tax deductable, pursuant to the law of 1st August 2003 on patronage.

Individuals : your gift means a tax reduction of 66% of the amount, within the limit of 20% of taxable income. If the reduction goes beyond this ceiling, the donor may carry over the excess to the following years, for up to 5 years.
This means that a gift of 1000 € will only cost you 340 €.

Companies : patronage offers the best value for money in terms of relations between the business world and the artistic world. Companies involved in this scheme benefit from a tax reduction of company tax for patronage gifts equivalent to 60 % of the amount of the sums donated to FIDELIO, within the limit of 5 ‰ of the turnover before tax of the company.
This means that a gift of 5 000 € would represent a net investment
of 2 000 €.
